Mixed-Use Developments Are Prime Candidates for 3D Architectural Animations

As time passes, there is less raw land to develop master plan communities in suburban and rural areas and more opportunities for mixed use projects in downtown and urban in fill locations.
When thinking about how to convey the vision for a mixed use project that could include uses such as commercial office, retail, multi family and possibly a civic or hotel component all within one project, it can be daunting to consider how to best communicate what the project will look like and describe how it will function as one cohesive project.
More times than not, some type of 3D architectural animation is created to effectively help future buyers and lessees of the project understand how all the uses are going to layout and operate together. A picture is worth a thousand words sometimes get’s over played, yet is never more true in the visualization business, where our team is tasked with helping clients develop an architectural animation for a project that only exists as blue print drawings.
Imagine if you wanted to buy a condo or lease a retail storefront or even rent office space in a mixed use development. There would be many questions as it relates to project access, signage, parking, common areas, design details, etc. Well now imagine if you could sit down in the developer or builders sales center or better yet, go on the project website and watch a short video that would virtually take you on tour through the project and you could see all of the most important aspects of the project as if it were already built.
Well, that is our goal for each and every video we produce and paramount to what we offer and want to achieve for each and every project where we are asked to create animation videos. No matter how big or small the project; there is still a developer/builder vision and a story that needs to be told to the audience. We simply want to make that story as visual as possible and allow for our client’s entitlement and or marketing teams to have the best tool possible to sell their vision.
